About
Badhon Rahman
I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I have worked on the security of quantum software since 2025 as part of the SeQuSoS project.
My research looks at how quantum software stacks can be breached — at the level of the quantum software ecosystem, and in the cloud pipelines (Quantum-as-a-Service) that run circuits on real hardware — and at what can be done to make them secure.
Before the PhD I worked as a Software Engineer in industry, then completed an M.Sc. in Software Engineering at LUT University. I tend to look at quantum computing the way an engineer looks at any production system: a stack of SDKs, compilers, cloud services and hardware that can be attacked, and should be defended.
